 Warehousing
The short-term funding of leases before permanent funding is finalized.
 water table
the water surface in an unconfined aquifer at which the fluid pressure in the pore spaces is at atmospheric pressure.
 weathering
the process during which a complex compound is reduced to its simpler component parts, transported via physical processes, or biodegraded over time.
 wellhead
the area immediately surrounding the top of a well, or the top of the well casing.
 Wholesale Sales

 windrow
a low, elongated row of material left uncovered to dry. Windrows are typically arranged in parallel.
 Wintergreen Lease
A lease that requires the lessee to give notice to the lessor in order to renew for another term. Otherwise, the lease terminates on the already established termination date.
 WORKING CAPITAL
Cash and short-term assets that can be used for current needs -- bills, etc.
 Working Capital
compares current assets to current liabilities by subtracting current liabilities from current assets. A business can identify the amount of cash needed to have on hand take advantage of discount and special term of payment The formula for Working Capital is as follows: Working Capital = Current Assets — Current Liabilities
 Wrap Lease
A lease in which the lessor sells the equipment to an investor for equity and a note payable over the lease term. This method effectively transfers tax benefits to an investor.
